Collection & Artists

The collection of Gaïtis’ works progresses chronologically, starting from the ground floor, where the earliest periods are presented – from 1948 to 1963. The upper floor is dedicated to paintings, installations, and constructions related to the famous “anthropakia”, dating from 1964 to 1984, the year of his death.

Simossi’s work is represented by ten monumental sculptures made of white resin, created between 1970 and 1983 and enlarged in 1999, the year of her death. Additionally, plaster sculptures from the period 1962–1969 are displayed, while the collection is complemented by approximately forty authentic photographic collages from the mid-1970s.
