Administration of the Museum

The  Gaïtis – Simossi Museum operates as a Non-Profit Civil Company, established in 2017. The museum building complex is owned by the Municipality of Ios, which has granted its use to the Museum’s Company. The works in the permanent collection have been granted on long-term loan by Loretta Gaitis.

The Museum is governed by a seven-member Board of Directors with a four-year term.

The current Board of Directors of the Gaitis-Simosi Museum consists of:

The General Direction of the Museum is undertaken by Georgia Voudouri, Architect / Cultural Manager.
